The times of war The times of pain Seeing the children crying And sitting in the rain.
Why do we fight When there should be peace Not valuing another life Shooting and killing going on for weeks.
The killing, the tortures They’re all senseless mind games Seeing men, women and children homeless Beginning to feel their pain.
The pain is intense I feel it to the core So many people injured Their leader doesn’t have a heart.
The battles of life Come tumbling down at once Hoping they’ll get tired And eventually give themselves up
But until then, When will this war end?
