LIFE

BEFORE BIRTH CAN FLASH

LIGHTNING AND TURQUOISE

THE DREAM COLLAPSES

INTO THE RIVER,

WHILE THE CURRENT FLOWS

THE BOAT SETS OFF

LONG REGRET

THIS BODY

NO POSSESSION

OF MINE

THE VIGOR IS PULSES

of delusion

leaning outward from damp lips

mirroring in the wake

I

WAS

INSIDE

THE STREAM

listening to myself out there

BARGING AND CRASHING

IN A FANTASY

OF BOMBS

and gasses

and children

being

raped

in prisons

and silver tinsel

on christmas trees

How precious is this pearl

of exploded harmony

reflecting

the feet of nothingness

drumming on packed earth

WITH

THESE

MONSTER

DRAGONS.

I

will

see clearly

and be generous.

I am plush green moss

bubbling with anger

and the beat moves on

into life

after

life.

I AM TRYING

TO FLASH,

BUT

THE

BEST I CAN MANAGE

IS

MY

LOVE FOR YOU
