Chris Tysh is the author of five books of poetry: Secrets of Elegance (Detroit River Press, 1981), Porne (In Camera, 1984), Coat of Arms (Station Hill Press, 1992), In the Name (Past Tents Press, 1994), and Continuity Girl (United Artists, 2000). She teaches Creative Writing and Women's Studies at Wayne State University in Detroit and was awarded the National Writer's Voice Residency in the Fall of 2000.
